Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar / Dehradun - Spiritual Gateway
- Meet the group in Haridwar or Dehradun.
- Attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (if time permits).
- Overnight stay in Haridwar / Dehradun.
Day 2: Haridwar / Dehradun to Barkot (180 km / 7-8 hours
- Scenic drive along the Ganges and Yamuna rivers.
- Stop at Kempty Falls, Mussoorie (optional stop).
- Reach Barkot, the base for Yamunotri trek.
- Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Yamunotri Darshan - The Source of the Yamuna River
- Drive to Janki Chatti (45 km / 2 hours).
- Trek to Yamunotri Temple (6 km one way) or take a pony/doli.
- Visit Surya Kund (hot water spring) & Divya Shila.
- Trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot.
- Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4-5 hours)
- Drive to Uttarkashi, known for its temples and spiritual significance.
- Visit Vishwanath Temple & Shakti Temple.
- Relax by the Bhagirathi River.
- Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Gangotri Darshan - The Origin of the Ganges
- Early morning drive to Gangotri (100 km / 4 hours).
- Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River at Gangotri Ghat.
- Offer prayers at the Gangotri Temple.
- Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hours)
- Scenic drive through Tehri Dam & Rudraprayag.
- Rest and prepare for the Kedarnath trek.
- Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7: Kedarnath Darshan - The Abode of Lord Shiva
- Drive to Sonprayag (30 km) and take a local transfer to Gaurikund.
- Trek to Kedarnath Temple (16 km) or take a pony/helicopter.
- Seek blessings at the 12th Jyotirlinga, Kedarnath Temple.
- Overnight stay in Kedarnath (subject to availability) or return to Guptkashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (200 km / 8-9 hours
- Drive via Joshimath and Vishnuprayag.
- Stop at Narsingh Temple & Shankaracharya Math.
- Reach Badrinath and visit Tapt Kund (hot spring).
- Attend the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
- Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath Darshan & Return to Rudraprayag
- Early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.
- Visit Mana Village (India’s last village) and Vyas Gufa.
- Drive back to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6-7 hours).
- Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
